Inner Lifetime: 5.0 stars from 80 Google reviews

Hello Lovely people !

If you've been hovering over the "book" button for weeks (or months, no judgement), this one's for you.

Walking into a yoga studio for the first time can feel scary.

Will everyone be bendy?

Will I know what to do?

Will I be the only beginner?

I felt all of that once too.

So rather than me telling you what Inner Lifetime is like, I've let our students do the talking. We're very proud to have 80 five-star reviews on Google, and below are the things people mention again and again, in their own words.

1. Made for beginners (you really won't be the only one)

Inner Lifetime is a beginner-first studio. Every class is taught so you can start where you are, and a lot of our regulars walked in for the first time feeling exactly how you feel right now.

Google review from Anand K.: I'm a beginner and I was anxious about starting, I wish I started sooner, I feel the complete opposite of judged.
Google review from G.: I've only done yoga from home, this was my first time doing an in-person class and I was anxious. But it was lovely! The environment was so calm and relaxing, the teacher was so encouraging and the other ladies were so kind.
Google review from Zoe C.: I had never practiced yoga before, but from my first class at Inner Lifetime I have felt so welcome and any worries immediately put at ease from the friendliness of the instructors and the participants alike!

2. A warm welcome from the moment you walk in

We're a small, cosy boutique studio, so you'll be welcomed at the door, shown where everything is, and helped to settle onto your mat. No big gym energy and no showing off, just a calm space and friendly faces.

Google review from Crystal R.: Attended my first yoga class today and will definitely be back. Lovely calm studio and everyone is super friendly and welcoming.
Google review from Fiona R.: Jade was so welcoming and made me feel at ease straight away.
Google review from Chaz B.: A lovely peaceful haven amongst the chaos and general hustle. Theres no attitude, no judgments, just vibes

3. Classes that adapt to your body

Stiff hips? Wobbly balance? Haven't touched your toes since school? That's completely fine. Our teachers offer options for every pose and there are props for everything, so the class works for your body on the day.

Google review from Sandra T.: It didn’t matter a bit that I was a complete beginner as I was guided throughout the session to suit my abilities.
Google review from Nick L.: Excellent teacher. Clear instructions with modifications enabling all to participate.
Google review from Sarah W.: You never feel out of place, if some positions are challenging there is always an alternative and props available to use.

4. Everything's provided: just bring water

Mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets are all included, and there's free parking right outside. Arrive about 10 minutes early for your first class, pop your shoes off at the door, and we'll do the rest.

Google review from Safaá A.: Excellent studio, everything is provided and Jade is a wonderful coach
Google review from Frances N.: From the lavender scented eye masks to the cosy fluffy blankets, everything has been thought of for your comfort and enjoyment.
Google review from Lily W.: The space is so calming and refreshing, always smells incredible and all the equipment is in brilliant condition

5. A class for every body, every age (and every diary)

Yoga isn't about being young, slim or super flexible. Our students come in every age, shape and size, and every class is taught so the pose fits your body, not the other way round. Bigger bodies, stiffer bodies, older bodies, bodies that haven't exercised in years: there's always a variation, a prop or a teacher on hand to help.

Google review from Elaine H.: Yoga is for anyone and everyone. That seems to be Jade's philosophy. Her's is an inclusive studio where she provides personal guidance for all.
Google review from Guy & Kelly: Jade makes you feel confident and comfortable regardless of your abilities. She created a safe and welcoming space for everyone!

Our Hormone Yoga classes also give women a supportive space through the hormonal changes that come with midlife, and it's lovely to be in a room with people who just get it.

Google review from Paschal C.: I particularly enjoy the hormone yoga classes, they are great to connect with yourself and other people in similar situations.

And with styles from gentle Restorative & Sound and slow, deep Yin to Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and our cosy heated classes, plus early mornings, 45-minute lunchtime classes, evenings and weekends, you can fit yoga around real life.

Google review from Emma S.: Jade is a wonderful teacher who provides a beautiful space to practice yoga, with a wide variety of classes that fit perfectly into my busy lifestyle and each class is energising, yet totally calming.
Google review from Tess B.: Jade runs a wonderful selection of classes where there is something for everyone, whether an absolute beginner or a seasoned guru.
Google review from Amy T.: I love the variety of classes on offer, there truly is a class for everyone.

6. You'll feel it in body and mind

Our students talk about feeling stronger, more flexible, calmer, and sleeping better. Just as often, they talk about how yoga has become the part of the week that's just for them.

Google review from Joanne B.: I am fairly new to yoga but am already seeing the benefits, with increased flexibility and strength. Lower back niggles have all but disappeared.
Google review from Sarah L.: Fantastic and friendly, I'm so glad I've found Inner Lifetime, it's made a huge difference both physically and mentally
Google review from Daniella B.: Finding Inner Lifetime, yoga & Jade has honestly changed my life. The studio is beautiful and has all the equipment you need.

7. A community, not just a class

This is the bit people don't expect. Inner Lifetime is somewhere you make friends. People chat before and after class, regulars look out for newcomers, and our WhatsApp community keeps everyone in the loop between classes.

Off the mat we run socials, book clubs, seasonal sound baths and events with other local businesses, so there's always a reason to come together. Lots of people tell us they came for the yoga and stayed for the people.

Google review from Kimmi: Jade has created a community at the studio which all faces, new and old, feel part of from the moment you join a class. You won't feel out of place. There's no room for judgement here.
Google review from Rach H.: I have met some lovely people too who also go! A truly good for your well-being experience and a life hug which everyone needs don't they?
Google review from Sarah F.: A lovely community and a variety of classes to suit everyone’s needs
Google review from Laurel K.: A truly wonderful space with a range of classes - Jade makes you feel so welcome. I’m really grateful to have found the studio and community!
Google review from Sarah G.: Jade shares her passion and love for yoga and its benefits on wellbeing. Such a fabulous yoga teacher who has created a great community!

8. Workshops, sound baths and celebrations

When you're ready to go a bit deeper, our workshops give you time to really explore, from our Myth to Mat series (the stories behind the poses) to Kundalini workshops and sound baths. We also host hen parties and private celebrations with gentle yoga, breathwork and a lot of love.

Google review from Caroline B.: I attended a Kundalini workshop recently and can honestly say the 3 hours flew by, yet gave me exactly what I needed.
Google review from Julie S.: We booked a yoga wellness session with Jade, as part of my daughter’s hen party, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the weekend.
Google review from Johanna T. about the Myth to Mat workshop: I love all the classes at Inner Lifetime so decided to book on one of the Myth to Mat workshops. Absolutely loved it. A really unique way to learn and practice yoga through a story.

9. Great value, with unlimited memberships

Regular yoga changed my life, and I want it to be affordable enough to become part of yours. That's why, as far as I know, we're the only studio in Lincoln offering unlimited memberships, alongside flexible block plans and drop-ins.

Google review from Kerry F.: With some great value membership options, some fabulous yoga teachers, a choice of Yoga styles and times, free parking and a great location, be there or be square!
