Return to Your Inner World

When the noise grew loud,
I stopped trying to carry the sky.
I laid my questions down
like stones beside a river,
and watched the current
take what was never mine to hold.
The world kept spinning,
yet something in me grew still.
With eyes closed,
I followed the breath home—
past the restless mind,
past old stories and names,
into the quiet room within.
There, no victory was needed,
no becoming, no chase.
Only the soft pulse of being,
the ancient hum beneath all things.
In surrender,
I did not disappear.
I returned.
Like a wave remembering
it is ocean.
