Roisin

Róisín’s yoga story began over a decade ago whilst studying for her Psychology degree. Having not exercised since school PE, she unexpectedly found herself signing up for a charity triathlon after losing a friend. She stumbled across a Hatha yoga class at her local gym and, before long, found herself choosing yoga over the endurance training she had planned. The combination of breath, mindful movement and a welcoming community was unlike anything she had experienced before and she was hooked.

Since then, Róisín has completed 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training across two immersive stays in Rishikesh, India. Alongside her training, she gained teaching experience while travelling through Asia and Europe, and completed a meditation course at a Buddhist centre in Northern Thailand.

She has now returned to Lincoln and is excited to share everything she has learned.

Róisín will be leading the Thursday evening Hatha and VinYin classes. She aims to create a welcoming and inclusive space where students can explore yoga with curiosity. Her classes are breath-led, accessible and thoughtfully sequenced, combining insights from yoga philosophy and anatomy in a practical, grounded way to help students build strength, confidence and consistency both on and off the mat.

Originally training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa, Róisín was drawn to the discipline and structure these practices offered. She also has a love for Hatha, Yin and Yoga Nidra, and enjoys sharing different styles and themes while encouraging students to stay curious about both the practice and themselves.

Just like the community at Inner Lifetime, Róisín continues to see herself as a student of yoga. She believes there is always more to learn, and her teaching continues to evolve alongside her own practice
