Katie
Katie began practising yoga 15 years ago as a form of exercise, following a Vinyasa DVD most mornings before work. Her practice continued through her first pregnancy, where she met inspiring teachers who helped her deepen her understanding of yoga and use it as a powerful tool throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
It was during life with her second and third children, when things became full and overwhelming, that Katie truly realised how much she depended on her practice. Not just for the physical benefits, but for calm, patience, clarity, and focus. She began to notice a clear difference on the days she didn’t practise — less tolerance, more tension, and a busy mind.
This realisation shifted everything. Yoga became more than movement; it became a tool for emotional regulation and support through the challenges of everyday life.
Katie feels a deep sense of gratitude for the teachers who have guided her along the way, and she now teaches from that embodied experience. She is passionate about holding space for her students and meeting them exactly where they are.
Alongside her 200-hour yoga teacher training, Katie is also qualified in children’s yoga. She has worked in schools with children aged 3–12, supporting them with tools for emotional regulation, confidence, and coordination.
She truly believes yoga isn’t about perfection — which is exactly why it resonates so deeply with her. Katie shows up to the mat imperfect, and leaves feeling whole.
