Service Description

Hormone Yoga is a 90-minute, beginner-friendly women’s yoga class in Lincoln created to support you through times of hormonal change—whether that’s PMS, irregular periods, perimenopause, menopause, or simply feeling out of balance. The class blends gentle yoga postures, supportive breathwork (pranayama), mindful meditation and deep relaxation to help you feel calmer, stronger and more connected to your body. Each session follows a theme linked to common hormone-related experiences such as sleep issues, stress, anxiety, low mood, fatigue, hot flushes, tension, bloating or brain fog. You’ll be guided through simple practices you can use beyond the studio—so you leave with tools you can return to when life (and hormones) feel intense. Hormone Yoga is underpinned by a positive, practical philosophy: every class is a chance to pause, tune in, and make small choices that support your wellbeing. Expect a supportive atmosphere that aims to educate and empower, helping you reframe unhelpful narratives and feel more in control of how you experience change. Classes begin with a gentle women’s circle where the theme is introduced. Sharing is always optional—listening is equally welcome. We may also include journaling, alongside breath, movement and rest, to support self-study and help you notice patterns across your cycle or menopause journey. Suitable for all ages and abilities, with options and props. Hormone Yoga can be a wonderful complement to your wider wellbeing plan, but it isn’t medical treatment—please speak to a healthcare professional for clinical advice. FAQ Is this a menopause yoga class? Yes—this class supports perimenopause and menopause, and also helps with cycle-related symptoms. Do I need yoga experience or flexibility? No. It’s beginner friendly and fully adaptable. Can yoga help with menopause symptoms? Many women find it helps with stress, sleep, mood, tension and resilience. Do I have to speak in the women’s circle? No—sharing is always optional. How long is the class? 90 minutes, so you don’t feel rushed and have time for breathwork, yoga and deep rest. What if I’m still having periods—will this help PMS or cycle symptoms? It can. Many women use this style of practice to support PMS, cramps, low mood, anxiety, sleep disruption, and cycle fatigue. Themes can be adapted to different parts of the menstrual cycle and how you’re feeling week to week.
