Service Description
This one hour Hatha class includes pranayama (breathwork), asana (physical postures) and meditation (mindfulness) with verbal guidance, encouragement and the use of props throughout. A beginner/intermediate Hatha class, each week will have a different focus, driving this slower, (and less dynamic flow than Vinyasa), holding more static postures. Verbal guidance, encouragement and use of props will be used, making this a perfect class for those new to yoga, or those that enjoy a low-impact class. While these classes are beginner/intermediate level and include the foundations of yoga, in-session adaptations to the flow also make it great for those who wish to challenge themselves further. This inclusive and nurturing class will cover both strength building and flexibility for a full range of body types and abilities, moving at a relatively slow place to allow time to transfer between poses with more ease. Common misconceptions of yoga are touched on throughout the class, covering the true philosophy behind yoga practice. As a beginner..if you are wanting to build strength, this is a slower class tp the vinyasa which gives you opportunity to focus on technique. An ideal beginner starting point if you are wishing to focus on strength in your yoga practice..
