Service Description

This class is for those wishing to start looking after their face. We often take it for granted and don't realize the tension it holds over time, or the powers of a few simple tasks that can help improve lymphatic drainage, blood flow while reducing tension and inflammation. So lets start with the benefits? - It helps the lymphatic drainage. Our lymphatic system helps to carry white blood cells, nutrients and other substances throughout the body . Often however we can get a build of of lymph fluid, or our lymphatic flow can be hindered causing puffiness and inflammation. This class helps promote effective lymphatic drainage in the face. - Promotes blood flow and oxygen to the face - the more we have of this the better our skin can repair which can improve skin tone. - Strengthens muscles in around the eyes to reduce aching faces and headaches caused from this. - Helps reduce dark circles and under eye puffiness from the above points. - Improves eyesight - increased blood flow and better drainage works wonders! - Tightens loose or saggy skin - as we age our natural collagen declines so these simple massages and techniques can be an effective way to help with this. - Improve symptoms of TMJ- TMJ refers to the temporomandibular joints that connect your upper and lower jaw. Often we can get a build up of tension here, particularly when if we are in or have experienced chronic stress. This class held to ease the tension, and therefore helps to ease the painful and uncomfortable symptoms. - Reduces overall facial tension/ eases headaches / migraines - do you frown a lot? Whether you know if you do or not, or face is full of muscles, and our muscles can hold onto tension. This can result in headaches and send messages to our nervous system that we are stressed activating our fight-or-flight. Massaging the face can help soften muscles in the face sending the opposite message to the nervous system, helping to move us into the rest and digest state required for optimum wellbeing. - Sinus issues can be relieved - Our face has several trigger points to help ease sinus issues. With just a little help and regular massages, we can give our sinus issues a big helping hand by receiving physical blockages through our hands. This class is also appropriate for those less mobile wishing to benefit from yoga - chairs can be provided to those unable to sit on the ground with supported props. **Please bring oil that is suitable for your skin type**

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule we would ask you to allow Inner Lifetime a minimum of 12 hours' notice. If this is not adhered to class booking will not be refunded. For members: No Show to a class will be charged £5.00. The same curtsey of a £5 refund will be provided if the class is cancelled within 12 hours.
