A Yoga & Myth Workshop on the strength within that never wavers and maintening faith when under fire.


Some strength roars. The rarest strength is quiet — it simply refuses to let go of what it knows to be true. In Hindu mythology, that strength belongs to a child.


Prahlada is a boy of gentle, unshakeable devotion, born to a king who demands to be worshipped himself. Everything is done to shake the boy's faith — and nothing touches him; he meets every storm with the same steady heart. Finally his furious father points to a stone pillar and demands: is your god in this, too? Yes, says the boy. And the pillar bursts open — the divine erupting in the form of Narasimha, the great lion-hearted protector — proving that what Prahlada trusted was everywhere all along, holding him in every moment…
